College of Charleston won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 10-point spread as favorites.

College of Charleston got 17 points from Antwaine Wiggins and another 9 points from Andrew Lawrence. Andrew Lawrence contributed 5 assists, while Trent Wiedeman cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.

Morehead State got 13 points from Terrance Hill in a losing cause and another 8 points from Jordan Percell. Lamont Austin contributed 3 assists for them, while Terrance Hill had 6 rebounds.

First-half bettors who backed College of Charleston were victorious, as the score was 37-25 at the break.

College of Charleston won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 37-29.
