Panthers roll over Redskins at home

Three different QBs threw touchdown passes for the Carolina Panthers on Saturday as they rolled to a 28-10 preseason win over the Washington Redskins.

The Panthers easily covered the 3.5-point spread at home on this night. The combined score went OVER the game’s posted total (34.5).

Jake Delhomme was good on 6-of-10 pass attempts for 68 yards for the Panthers, throwing one touchdown pass. Chris Weinke also threw a touchdown pass for Carolina, while Stefan LeFors found his target in the end zone twice.

Nehemiah Broughton ran for Washington’s only major score in the third quarter. Mark Brunell went 11 of 19 for 121 yards in the loss.
