The Calgary Flames got within two points of the final playoff berth with a 2-1 win over the Phoenix Coyotes Wednesday night at the Pengrowth Saddledome. Calgary won this game as -160 favorites, while the teams played UNDER the posted over/under (5). Rene Bourque and Ales Kotalik scored for the Flames, and Miikka Kiprusoff made 29 saves. Lee Stempniak scored his 27th goal of the season in the Coyotes loss. |
