Bengals Big Favorites vs Browns on Thursday

The Cincinnati Bengals have a great chance at remaining undefeated Thursday night when they take on the Cleveland Browns as an 11-point favorite at online sportsbook 5Dimes.

The 7-0 Bengals defeated Pittsburgh 16-10 as a 1-point road underdog last week. Andy Dalton passed for 231 yards with a touchdown and a pair of interceptions in the win. As usual, most of Dalton’s passes ended up in A.J. Green’s hands. Green had 11 receptions for 118 yards and a TD.

The Browns lost to Arizona 34-20 as a 7-point underdog last week. Josh McCown had three touchdown passes, but he also left the game in the second half with a rib injury. McCown will sit out Thursday, with Johnny Manziel starting in his place for Cleveland.

Not only have the Bengals started the season with seven straight wins they’re also 6-0-1 ATS. At home Cincinnati has won four in a row with a 3-0-1 ATS mark and in their last eight they’re 6-2 SU and 4-2-2 ATS.

Cleveland has lost their last three games and their ATS mark isn’t much better at 0-2-1. In their last 13 games the Browns have only two wins with a 6-6-1 ATS record. The Browns' road record is also abysmal. In their last seven away from home Cleveland is 1-6 SU and 4-3 ATS.

Last season Cleveland and Cincinnati split the season series with a win apiece. The Bengals won in Cleveland 30-0 as a 2-point underdog and the Browns picked up a 24-3 win in Cincinnati as a 6-point underdog.

In the last five matchups between these two teams Cleveland owns a surprising 3-2 record SU and ATS, with all three wins coming as the underdog. In their last 12 games against the Browns the Bengals are a disappointing 4-7-1 ATS.

When Cincinnati has played host to Cleveland lately they’ve been pretty successful at 5-1 SU in their last six. They’re still only 2-3-1 ATS in those six games.
