College Football Week 14 Betting Preview

It’s conference championship weekend in college football and it gets started Friday night when the Colorado Buffaloes and Washington Huskies square off in the Pac-12 title game.

Both teams will be on the road in this one, as it will be played at Levi’s Stadium in California. The Huskies are a 7.5-point favorite at the Bovada sportsbook and they’ve completely owned Colorado in the past. In six meetings with Colorado the Huskies are a perfect 6-0 straight up and against the spread.

The Buffaloes are on a six-game winning streak SU with a 4-2 ATS record. They are also 11-2 ATS in their last 13 games. Washington is 14-1 SU in their last 15 and 9-6 ATS.

On the weekend the SEC title game goes at the Georgia Dome with the Alabama Crimson Tide facing the Florida Gators.

Alabama is a 24-point favorite as they go for their 25th straight win. The Gators lost last time out, falling to the Florida State Seminoles 31-13 as an 8.5-point underdog. They’re 8-3 SU in their last 11 with a 5-6 record ATS

This is a rematch of last year’s SEC title game, which the Crimson Tide won 29-15 as a 16.5-point favorite. Alabama has won their last five against the Gators at 4-1 ATS. In their last 10 versus Florida the Crimson Tide are 8-2 SU and ATS.

The Big Ten title game heads to Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis again this year with the Wisconsin Badgers facing the Penn State Nittany Lions as a 2.5-point favorite. Wisconsin has won their last six games at 4-1-1 ATS, while Penn State is on an eight-game winning streak at 7-0-1 ATS.

The Nittany Lions are 4-1 SU and ATS in their last five against Wisconsin. The Badgers are 2-1 in their previous three appearances in the Big Ten title game, while Penn State is making their title game debut.

Finally, in the ACC title game the Clemson Tigers and Virginia Tech Hokies meet up at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. Clemson is favored by 10 points at Bovada and in their last 12 games they are 11-1 SU and 6-6 ATS.

The Hokies are 8-2 SU in their last 10 and 6-4 ATS. They’ve dropped three straight to Clemson both SU and ATS. Before those three losses the Hokies had won their last five versus the Tigers.

Clemson and Virginia Tech also clashed in the 2011 ACC title game and the Tigers won 38-10 as a 7-point underdog.
