College Football Week 14 Top Odds Matchups

It’s conference championship weekend in college football with a number of teams involved looking to strengthen their chance at the College Football Playoff.

In the SEC Championship Game Florida takes on Alabama at the Georgia Dome. The Crimson Tide are a big 17-point favorite at online sportsbook 5Dimes in what is expected to be a rout.

Coming off an 11-1 regular season with a 7-5 ATS mark the Tide have won nine straight while going 6-3 ATS. In last week’s 29-13 win over Auburn as a 15-point favorite Derrick Henry was unstoppable, rushing for 271 yards and a TD on 46 carries.

The Gators ended the regular season on a sour note, losing to Florida State 27-2 as a 2.5-point underdog. That dropped them to 10-2 SU and 7-5 ATS on the season. Against Alabama the Gators have lost four straight both SU and ATS. Alabama is also a strong 8-1 ATS in their last nine versus Florida.

In the Pac-12 title game Stanford meets up with USC at Levi’s Stadium as a 4.5-point favorite. The Cardinal edged Notre Dame 38-26 as a 4-point favorite last week to end up 10-2 SU and 8-4 ATS. USC crushed UCLA 40-21 as a 3-point favorite in their regular season finale to finish 8-4 SU and 6-6 ATS.

Back in Week 3 Stanford defeated USC 41-31 as a 9.5-point road underdog. In their last seven matchups against USC the Cardinal are 5-2 SU and 4-3 ATS and in their last 11 games against Pac-12 opponents they’re 10-1 SU and 9-2 ATS.

In the ACC Championship Game Clemson faces North Carolina at Bank of America Stadium as a 5-point favorite. The undefeated Tigers defeated South Carolina 37-32 in their regular season finale but didn’t come close to covering the 20.5-point spread. That was Clemson’s fourth straight ATS loss dropping them to 5-7 ATS on the season.

The Tar Heels have won 11 in a row after beating N.C. State 45-34 last week as a 3.5-point favorite. During their winning streak UNC is 8-3 ATS.

The favored team is 4-0 ATS in the last four matchups between Clemson and North Carolina. The Tigers have also won their last two SU and ATS versus UNC and they’re 5-1 SU and 4-2 ATS in their last six.

Finally, in the Big Ten Championship Game Michigan State takes on undefeated Iowa at Lucas Oil Stadium as a 3.5-point favorite at online sportsbook Bovada. The Spartans were 11-1 SU this season, but only 5-7 ATS. They did finish off the regular season with an impressive 55-15 win over Penn State as 7.5-point chalk.

The 12-0 Hawkeyes were 7-5 ATS this season and got past Nebraska 28-20 as a 2.5-point favorite last week. Iowa and Michigan State have split their last six matchups with three wins apiece. Iowa is 4-2 ATS in those games and in their last 12 versus the Spartans they are 9-3 ATS.
