NFL Week 12 Betting Preview and Analysis

The New England Patriots go for their sixth straight road win as they visit the New York Jets as 7.5-point chalk at the Bovada sportsbook this weekend.

Last week the Patriots beat up on the San Francisco 49ers 30-17 as an 11-point favorite. With the win New England improved to 5-1 straight up and against the spread in their last six games and they’ve won five straight SU and ATS on the road.

The Jets are coming off their bye week and in Week 10 fell to the Los Angeles Rams 9-6 as a 1.5-point underdog. The Jets are now a lackluster 2-6 SU and ATS in their last eight games. In their last six as a home underdog New York is 1-5 SU, but 3-2-1 ATS.

New England has dominated this matchup at 8-2 SU in their last 10 versus the Jets, but they’re only 3-6-1 ATS. In their last six games on the road versus the Jets the Patriots are 0-5-1 ATS.

In the AFC West this weekend the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos meet up. The Broncos return from their bye week as a 3-point favorite. They edged the New Orleans Saints 25-23 as a 3-point underdog last time out and in their last nine at home they’re 8-1 SU and 5-3-1 ATS.

The Chiefs had a five-game winning streak snapped last week after a 19-17 upset loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a 7-point favorite.

The UNDER looks like a smart play for totals bettors here, as the Chiefs are 8-1 UNDER in their last nine games and the UNDER is 7-2-2 in the last 11 between the Chiefs and Broncos. Denver has also won seven of their last eight versus Kansas City with a 5-3 ATS record.

Looking ahead to Monday night the Green Bay Packers are in desperate need of a win to snap a four-game losing streak when they face the Philadelphia Eagles.

Green Bay is a 3.5-point road underdog at Bovada. After last week’s 42-24 drubbing against the Washington Redskins as a 3-point underdog the Packers are 1-4 SU and ATS in their last five on the road.

Philadelphia is 2-5 SU in their last seven and lost to the Seattle Seahawks 26-15 last week as a 6.5-point underdog. At home the Eagles have won four straight SU and ATS, but they’re 1-4 SU and ATS in their last five versus Green Bay.
