NFL Week 15 Slate: Best Betting Matchups

Weekend action during Week 15 of the NFL season gets started a day early with a Saturday night matchup between the New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys.

The Jets are fighting for an AFC Wild Card spot after winning their last three games both SU and ATS. Last week New York topped Tennessee 30-8 as an 8-point favorite. Ryan Fitzpatrick threw three touchdowns and Brandon Marshall had six receptions for 125 yards and a TD.

The Cowboys' playoff chances died last week following a 28-7 loss to Green Bay as a 6-point underdog. Matt Cassel passed for only 114 yards with an interception and Darren McFadden rushed for 111 yards on nine carries.

The Jets are a 3.5-point road favorite at online sportsbook Bovada this weekend.  That may not be the best news for New York, as they are 2-4 SU and ATS in their last six games as a road favorite. At home this season Dallas has lost five straight while going 1-4 ATS. As a home underdog the Cowboys are 1-7 SU and 4-4 ATS in their last eight.

On Sunday first place in the AFC South will be up for grabs when Houston takes on Indianapolis. Both sides enter this matchup having lost two in a row SU and ATS. The Texans lost to New England 27-6 as a 5-point underdog last week. The Colts were crushed by Jacksonville 51-16 as a 1-point underdog.

In Week 5 Indy defeated Houston 27-20 as a 4.5-point road underdog. In this matchup the home team has reigned with an 8-3 SU record in the last 11 meetings. The Colts have won five in a row against Houston with a 4-1 ATS record and at home the Colts are 13-0 SU and 8-4-1 ATS against the Texans.

The Carolina Panthers’ drive for a perfect season continues Sunday when they visit the New York Giants as a 5-point road favorite at online sportsbook 5Dimes. The Panthers hit 13-0 last week with a 38-0 win over Atlanta as an 8.5-point favorite. In their last 19 games Carolina is 18-1 SU and 13-5-1 ATS.

The Giants still have a shot at the NFC East division title after a 31-24 win over Miami last week as a 2-point favorite. Odell Beckham Jr. had a huge game in the win with seven receptions for 166 yards and two touchdowns.

The most important thing about this game might be that the Giants are a home underdog. As a home dog New York has lost nine in a row SU with a 3-6 ATS record. In their last 18 games as a home underdog the Giants are 2-16 SU and 8-10 ATS.
