Wild Card Betting Slate: NFC Matchup Odds

After stumbling into the postseason can the Green Bay Packers begin another Super Bowl run when they get started in the Wild Card round in Washington against the Redskins?

The early line for this matchup had the Redskins listed as a slim 1-point favorite. Things have changed though and the oddsmakers at online sportsbook Bovada now list this game as a pick’em. Other sportsbooks have Green Bay as a 1-point favorite, so the line may not be finished moving yet.

The Packers lost their regular season finale 20-13 to Minnesota as a 3-point favorite to finish 10-6 SU and 9-7 ATS. Green Bay lost their last two games, also falling to Arizona, and on the road this season they were 5-3 SU and ATS.

Washington won their first division title since 2012 and now they’ll be looking for their first playoff win since 2006. The Redskins finished the regular season on a four-game winning streak both SU and ATS. They were also 6-2 SU and 5-3 ATS at home this season.

The Packers have had the Redskins' number when they match up with a 5-1 SU record and 4-1-1 ATS mark in their last six against Washington. Green Bay was a 3-point favorite the last time they played in Washington in 2010, but they lost 16-13.

The other NFC Wild Card matchup sees the Seattle Seahawks take on the Minnesota Vikings as a 6-point road favorite at Bovada.

Seattle was 6-1 SU and ATS in their last seven games this season and could get a big jolt to their already impressive offense if Marshawn Lynch is ready to return from a lengthy layoff. On the road the Seahawks have won five in a row while going 4-1 ATS and in their last 10 games as a road favorite they are 8-2 SU and 6-4 ATS.

Minnesota also finished the regular season strong, winning their last three games SU and their last four ATS. The Vikings were tough at home this season at 6-2 SU and ATS. In their last four games as a home underdog Minnesota was 1-3 SU and 2-2 ATS, but in their last 12 they are a strong 8-4 SU and 9-3 ATS.

Seattle has dominated this matchup with three straight wins SU and ATS against Minnesota and an 8-4 SU and ATS mark in their last 12. The Seahawks are also 4-0 SU in their last four Wild Card round games. Minnesota owns as unimpressive 1-4 SU record and 2-3 ATS record in their last five playoff games.
