Las Vegas - Been living in Vegas for almost 35 years, but still not a huge fan of the local teams, unless, we can make some money. Think that UNLV, at plus YO ELEVEN, might be the path to add a little love to the bank account. The Rebels lost their first eight games to open the season, but did not go into vacation mode, and came back with two wins in a row. They beat New Mexico 31-17 and Hawaii 27-13.

Las Vegas - Lemme take a guess about the main story line for the Falcons/Patriots game tonight? Maybe, possibly, probably, for sure, Atlanta blowing the YUGE lead in Super Bowl LI against New England. You remember. The Falcs were up 21-3 at halftime, and 28-3 in the 3rd quarter. Then the sky fell. TB12 led his crew to TWENTY FIVE straight points to force OT, then broke every single heart in the ATL with a 34-28 W. Think anyone's gonna mention that?

Las Vegas - Need some help on the 'Squid Game.' A few of the sportsbooks are posting odds on this massive TV hit, and we have not watched yet. So, there's this guy called the Front Man, and the bet is, will he be apprehended by the authorities next season? No is -$200 and Yes is +170. What about Red Light, Green Light? Will they play it next season? No is the favorite at -$400 with Yes at +$300. YELL at me if you're Squid savvy!!!

Las Vegas - It's STILL a few weeks away, but it looks like Georgia and Alabama will meet on December 4 in Atlanta for the SEC crown. You got a number yet Eck? We do. Looking at the Bulldogs around a field goal over the Crimson Tide. 'Bama as an UNDERDOG? WHAT!!! You have to go back to the 2015 season to find last time that Nick Saban was getting points. The game was against, yea, Georgia, in Athens, and Alabama was a +1.5 point dog.

Las Vegas - A LAUGHER: a sports contest or other competition that is so easily won by one team or competitor that it seems ABSURD (caps are all mine). That's what happened yesterday when we tabbed the Cowboys as our BEST BET and they DEMOLISHED the Falcons, 43-3. Don't get too many of those so, yea, we'll enjoy for at least a few hours.
