arizona showdown
Las Vegas - Back in the day, prop wagers were just a throw away to attract more attention and a few more betting options. Now, they are a GINORMOUS money machine for the sportsbooks. Some joints have published prop books that rival 'War and Peace' which clocked in at 1,225 pages! Well, not really, but the SuperBook at the Westgate Hotel in Vegas has a package of props that runs for 32 pages. Yea, THIRTY TWO PAGES! They have all the traditional prop wagers plus a handful of delicious cross-sport investment opportunities.
Gonna throw out a prop a day to keep the doctor away, or, the red ink. For those that didn't stop by the Ecks & Bacon table this weekend, we have already thrown down on Cincinnati's superb K Evan McPherson to go Over 7.5 points. Staying on the Bengals side of the field, gonna take a look at RB Joe Mixon's rushing prop. The Over/Under is 65.5 yards and we are gonna go LOW. Why? Of course we have reasons. In the playoffs, Mixon managed only 48 yards against Vegas, 54 against Tennessee and 88 against Kansas City. Don't get TOO excited about that number because Kaycee was way down at number 19 against the run this past season. Now look at what the Rams have done in the playoffs against the run. They held Arizona to 61 yards, Tampa Bay to 51 and San Francisco to just 50. That SCREAMS UNDER, and, you can BET on it BAABBBEEE!!!
Oh yea, before I let you go, gonna throw some love at the Arizona State/Arizona game tonight in Tempe. Not interested laying 14 points with the visiting Wildcats, but REALLY like a play on the total. It's listed at 142.5 and we're going LOW, UNDER for the money!
