Las Vegas - Looking at a noon start up in West Point where Army is hosting Massachusetts. The Cadets are favored by 10 points, and quite frankly, we are SHOCKED. Why? Army has lost its last two games by a combined score of 81-0. Yea, gotta SCREAM. EIGHTY ONE TO NOTHING/BUPKIS/ZERO! So, Vegas says, a team that HAS NOT scored a point, and, has given up 81 the last two times out, is 10 points better than UMass. Okay. Looked at some numbers and can now understand the line. The Cadets have SMUSHED the Minutemen the last three times they met, and the scores were not even close. Army outscored UMass 140-21 and while we feel like screaming again, you get my drift. The other reason that the Cadets are such a generous favorite is, Massachusetts record over the last five years. Hold on to your ears 'cause I might scream again. Since 2019, UMass is 4-44 and NOBODY in the country has been that bad. Hey Ryan Bamford (athletic director), maybe you should consider shutting down the football program and concentrate on the ice where the Minutemen are pretty good, and even won the National Championship in 2020/21. So, we're not thrilled about laying a 10 spot with the Cadets, which is why we'll march with the Army on the money line.

For your wagering pleasure, here is your spread stat of the day. Looking at a Big 12 matchup in Stillwater between Oklahoma State and Cincinnati. If you're checking for a team that is HORRIBLE against the spread, stop right here with the Bearcats. Cincy has covered only one of six this season, and going back to 2022, just two of the last 15. BIG OUCH!
