Las Vegas - Gonna kick it off in Lisbon at the UEFA Champions League semi-final between Bayern and Lyon. The Bavarians are a gigantic -$450 favorite, and after watching them HUMILIATE Barcelona 8-2, that price almost seems cheap. Especially when you look at their overall body of work. If you're sitting, lemme tell you that Bayern has won 24 of its last 25 matches in all competitions, the exception being a draw against RB Leipzig. Not gonna lay $450 to win back $100, but rather take a halftime wager on Bayern, which would only cost $180 to win back $100. Also gonna rock a wager on the total goals, and go OVER 2.5 goals at a price of like 3/1. Why? The Bavarians have scored 155 times across all competitions, netting 100 in the Bundesliga, 39 in the UEFA Champions League and 16 in the German Cup. Just one thing left to say, AUF WIEDERSEHEN Lyon!!!

Skate on to the ice in Edmonton with me as we watch the Avalanche hand the Coyotes their golf clubs. Been all over the Avs from the start, picking up wins in the first two games, passing on game three, then jumping back on Colorado in a game four win. Normally, when one team embarrasses another, like the Avs did in the last game with a 7-1 blowout, we take a look at the team that was embarrassed. NOT tonight. Colorado is WAY TOO talented, and will not take its foot off the gas. Avalanche coach Jared Bednar will NOT allow it. Bednar is one of those hockey lifers that never made it to the Big Show. He played all over the minors with the St. John's Maple Leafs, Rochester Americans and Grand Rapids Griffins. But once he took over in Denver, the arrow points only one way, UP! In his first season, 2016-17, he had a rag-tag group of second rate players and wound up under water at 22-56. In 2017-18, the Avs STUNNED the league with an AMAZING 180 degree turn, posting a 43-30 record, and making the playoffs. They lost in the first round, but came back in 2018-19 with a 38-30 mark, and made it to the second round of the playoffs. This season, I'm talking about them making the Western Conference Finals. Heard the coyotes howling last night outside my patio, probably looking for some water in the 112 degree heat. But the Coyotes from Arizona will NOT be howling, or drinking tonight, just polishing their irons for a tee time tomorrow.

On the baseball board, the Reds are switching to Castillo in game one.
