Las Vegas - Checking in on the early NFL game and gonna roll with the Bengals over the Vikings. After losing three straight AND All-World QB Joe Burrow, everyone ruled Cincinnati out of the playoffs. NOT SO FAST! Jake Browning stepped in and after a loss against the Steelers, he has been kinda PHABULOUS! Browning was 32 of 37 (86.5%) against the Jaguars and 18 of 24 (75%) against the Colts. Jake has a 79.3 completion percentage which just so happens to be the HIGHEST in any QBs first three starts since 1950! At 7-6, Cincy is still right in the middle of the Wild Card hunt and should be able to handle Minnesota. The Vikings EXPLODED for THREE POINTS last week against the Raiders and that was after back-to-back losses to the Bears (10-12) and Broncos (20-21). Head coach Kevin O'Connell gave Joshua Dobbs a seat on the bench and put Nick Mullens in at QB. Mullens was not terrible last week, 9 of 13 for 83 yards, but he's gonna have problems against a stiff Bengals defense. And since Cincy has won 12 of the last 15 at home, we have NO problem laying a field goal against the Purple People. Or, you might even try the money line.
