Las Vegas - Gonna be emotional tonight down in Tallahassee as Florida State honors legendary coach Bobby Bowden. Notre Dame opened up at -9.5 and has dropped to -7. The Over/Under total hasn't really moved that much, opening at 56 and now sitting at 55.5. Which word are you hanging on? Emotion or talent? If you're hanging on emotion, then the Seminoles plus a TD are your side. If it's talent, then you gotta look at the Fighting Irish.

First the facts. Notre Dame has rolled over Florida State the last two times, winning 42-13 in 2018 and 42-26 last season. Both games were AT South Bend. Brian Kelly hasn't made any money the last ten years for Irish faithful, covering only 15 of 32 as a road favorite. On the other side of the field, Mike Norvell's first season at FSU was, not any other way to say it, UGLY. The 'Noles were 3-6 straight up and against the spread. We dug a little deeper and found out that after taking over as head coach at Memphis, Norvell was 8-5 in his first season, then 10-3 in his second. Maybe there's a slight ray of hope. So, here's how we're gonna play it. If the Seminoles come out breathing fire, and are ahead or close at the end of the 1st half, then we would take ALL of our chips, the Bitcoin/Ethereum accounts as well as the NFTs (Non-fungible tokens), and drop everything on the Irish in the 2nd half! If ND is blowing out FSU as the 1st half comes to a close, then we'll just shut the wallet, switch over to Netflix and watch 'Clickbait.' Heard it's worth the look.

Turning to the baseball diamond, goin' up North again and using the Blue Jays with Robbie Ray over the A's. Ray basically owned the month of August, allowing just 6 earned runs over 35 innings for a gorgeous 1.54 ERA. But the EYE-POPPING stat is FIFTY TWO Ks over those 35 frames. SMOKE! Oakland will start Cole Irvin who has struggled in his last two outings, giving up 14 hits and 6 earned runs in only 7 innings. BIG OUCH! Gimme Toronto for the money!
