Las Vegas - As most of you know, we have been on the Ohio State bandwagon since August. For those just jumping into the Ecks & Bacon space, we bought a ticket back in August on the Buckeyes to win the National Championship. Not gonna say how much because Uncle Sam might be reading, but lets just say that we will be able to keep the lights on and the pool running for a few months. So, how do we handle the title game tonight? Still think that State is the better team, but the Fighting Irish have been cashing tickets like they're printing money. The Irish have covered YO 11 in a row and are now getting 8.5 points. Still mystified by the ginormous spread because on our power rating chart, we have the Buckeyes as a 4/4.5 point favorite on a neutral field. So, we'll be buying the snowman and the hook, but it's not gonna be a hefty buy. Notre Dame lost LT Anthonie Knapp to an ankle injury and will replace him with Charles Jagusah, who will be making his FIRST start of the season. UH OH! But even more important, Irish RB Jeremiyah Love AIN'T 100% and that's a problem. Love gobbled up 108 yards in the first playoff game against Indiana, then had some issues with his knee. The next two games were brutal, with just 19 yards against Georgia and 46 against Penn State. Love said that he's 100% for the National Championship game, but C'MON, one big hit and he goes to the tent and probably doesn't come back. We wish Love only love and hopefully he can stay away from the big hit. So, here's our last licks for the college football season. Ohio State wins, we cash BIGLY on that ticket, then Notre Dame covers the 8.5 point spread, and, we cash again. For all my college fans that are done till next season, THX for reading!
