canucks again
Las Vegas - Skating on to the NHL ice up in Canada and gonna rock the Canucks over the Coyotes. After sitting in last place, Vancouver fired coach Travis Greene and put Bruce Boudreau behind the bench. Double B took the job with a lifetime 567-302 record, so he knows how to win. His Canucks have a 28-21 mark since the takeover and are fighting for the 8th and final playoff spot. They need to jump over the Stars, Kings and Golden Knights, so it ain't gonna be easy. But Boudreau has 'em fighting like crazy, winning four in a row and 19 of the last 27. And they get to skate against the pathetic Coyotes, a team that has dropped four in a row and lost 11 of the last 13. Vancouver played two games against Arizona this season, and both finals were 5-1. Both wins for the Canucks. Interesting fact about Bruce B. He was a legend in Canadian junior hockey with the Toronto Marlboros. In the 1974/75 season, he ripped the net for 68 goals and had 97 assists for a total of 165 points. And guess who idolized him? Another legend. None other than the actual Great One, Wayne Gretzky. So gimme Double B and the Canucks for the money!
