cardboard
Las Vegas - Gotta take you all the way to Germany for an idea to fill up the stands when the games come back.
Borussia Mönchengladbach fans have ordered more that 8,000 cardboard cut-outs of themselves to help fill Borussia-Park if and when the Bundesliga returns behind closed doors.
The fifth-biggest stadium in the German top-flight has been packed to its 54,014 capacity for most of the season as the Foals have galloped to fourth in the table/standings, just six points behind leaders Bayern Munich.
The Foals, which is way easier to say and spell than Borussia Mönchengladbach, have nutty, loud and passionate supporters for every home game. Unable to actually sit in the stadium, Borussia-Park, Gladbach fans have contributed to the 'Stay at home. Be in the stands' campaign. For €19.00, which is approximately $20.61, the 'cardboard you' will be installed in the stands, with the proceeds going to local charities. BRILLIANT!!!
Not sure who is making the cardboard cutouts, but you KNOW that I'm ordering one. Not for putting it at Yankee Stadium or Madison Square Garden, but just to stand it beside my desk every day. You know the old saying, 'TWO BENJAMINS ARE BETTER THAN ONE!!!'
Got another delicious prop coming your way. Which QB will start in week #1. Start out with the NO-Tom Brady Patriots and Jarrett Stidham is the heavy 1/2 favorite. Cam Newton could wind up in New England, and his odds to start would be 5/1. Brian Hoyer IS on the roster, but odds that he gets the first snap of 2020 are 10/1.
If you wanna look at the Dolphins, Ryan FitzMagic is the overwhelming favorite at 1/3, Tua is 3/1 and Josh Rosen is the long, long shot at 20/1. The Chargers starter might be a two man battle between Tyrod Taylor at 1/3 and Justin Herbert at 3/1. Looking at the Bears, Nick Foles has the inside track at 1/2, while Mitchell Trubisky is listed at 3/2.
