Las Vegas - Mike Clevinger won 36 games in a three year stretch with Cleveland, then the troubles started. After he was traded to San Diego, Clevinger had Tommy John surgery and missed ALL of 2021. He opened up this season in May, but after only three starts, went on the DL with a strained triceps. He got back in action in mid-June and he is just starting to build his arm strength back up. In three starts, he has thrown 13 innings and allowed just 2 earned runs for a sweet 1.38 ERA. His last start was exceptional, with 6 innings worth of BAGELS, ONLY ONE hit and back up to
86 pitches. Gimme those Padres for the money.
