Sorry Dad!!!
Las Vegas - Back in the day, the Army/Navy game was a glittering spectacle and a must watch. My Dad was Army, so we always rooted for the Black Knights. Until MONEY was on the table. With an apology to Dad watching in the skybox, we gotta sail with the Midshipmen this year. Navy has a superb 9-2 record and you need a little update on those two losses. The Sailor Boys came up short against an 11-2 North Texas and a 10-2 Notre Dame squad. Navy's starting QB Blake Horvath was injured toward the end of the North Texas game and did NOT play against the Fighting Irish. Horvath returned against USF and the Middies posted a 41-38 win and they beat Memphis in the next game, 28-17. Navy leads the nation in rushing average with 298 yards per game. Army also lost to North Texas but never played Notre Dame. The concern is the Cadets losses to Tarleton State (30-27), East Carolina (28-6), Tulane (24-17) and Tulsa (26-25). Sorry Dad, but gonna sail with the Navy.
