Cam is Cook(ing)!

Las Vegas - Time to go bowling and we're looking at the Salute to Veteran's Bowl in Montgomery, Alabama. Both schools, Troy and Jacksonville State, are from Alabama. So no real edge there, although Troy is just 53 miles from Montgomery while Jax State is 123 miles. Looking at the Gamecocks from Jacksonville because of the dynamic rushing game led by Conference USA Player of the Year, RB Cam Cook and talented QB Caden Creel. Mr. Cook was the LEADING rusher in the nation with 1,659 yards and tacked on 16 TDs. Mr. Creel lit up the board from the QB slot for 1,085 and 7 TDs. Jacksonville had the 4th best ground game in the FBS, averaging 258 yards per game. Troy announced that the team's leading rusher, RB Tae Meadows, has entered the transfer portal and will NOT play. The Trojans also list starting QB Goose Crowder as questionable. So we're barking with Jax State at +2.5 and if you can buy the hook to +3, that would be perfect. And since there are like 364 bowl games left, don't spend the entire bankroll tonight, so maybe just a tickle on Jax.
