Big toe vs. Grandpa Rivers...We'll take the TOE!!!

Las Vegas - Brock Purdy went down with a toe injury after the Jacksonville game in week four and missed the next six games. Since he returned, the 49ers have won and covered four in a row and the scores have not even been close. They beat the Cards 41-22, the Panthers 20-9, the Browns 26-8 and the Titans 37-24. Purdy has been hitting almost 70% of his passes and has seven TDs against three INTs in those four games. Everybody got excited about Grandpa Rivers coming back to the NFL after five years away, but after looking at the numbers, my thought is, so what. Grandpa had a decent completion percentage against the Seahawks, hitting on 18 of 27 (66.7%), but was able to scratch out only 120 yards. That ain't gonna get it done tonight which is why we're on the Niners.
