Eck x Eck is money in the bank!

Las Vegas - Driving cross country back in 1987 to our new home in Vegas, one of the last stops was in Albuquerque where we made a visit to the New Mexico campus. Bought a pair of shorts with the Lobo logo and still have 'em sitting in the closet. That's not why we're picking New Mexico, but I WILL be wearing the pants. The Lobos have had a superb season under first year coach Jason Eck, posting a 9-3 record. Also not picking New Mexico because the coach is named Eck, but it's kinda cool. The Lobos come in on a six game winning streak and have a 35-10 win in the books against a Big Ten team, UCLA. Minnesota might have a 7-5 record but six of the seven wins have come against teams with losing records. They beat Buffalo (5-7), Northwestern State (1-11), Rutgers (5-7), Purdue (2-10), Nebraska (7-5), Michigan State (4-8) and Wisconsin (4-8). The Golden Gophers also have a number of opt-outs that could limit the offense. Gimme Eck and the Lobos for the money.
