Some ECK-cellent advice ... maybe!!!

Las Vegas - A little ECK-cellent advice. Got a teaser coming your way when your eyes finish this paragraph, but first, a word, or 25. Even though we're throwing out a tease, we're gonna make it just a few pennies. Maybe 1/10 of the normal wager. This is such a muddled NFL card and we have the College Football Playoffs in a few days, then Wild Card weekend. No need to get crazy. Actually 44 words, sorry!

Gonna throw out a three team 10-point teaser on the final week of the season, starting in Houston. Gotta have the Texans and slice 'em from -10.5 to -0.5 point. Houston has won eight in a row and has the best defense in the NFL. Indy comes in on the other side of the spectrum, on a five game losing streak. They have put Granddaddy Rivers on the bench and will start rookie Riley Leonard. He ain't a Grandpa and he does not have much experience. Leonard has completed 18 of 33 passes (54.5%) for 145 yards with zero TDs and two INTs.

Then we move to New England and take the Patriots from -13 to -3 points against the Dolphins. The Pats have a shot at the #1 seed and a bye but the chances are slim. If they win and Denver loses, then it's bye time. But as you will see in the next graph, that is probably not gonna happen.

Here we are in the next graph and yes, will take the Broncos from -13 to -3 points against the Chargers. Denver wraps up the #1 seed with a W while the Chargers are basically stuck with a road game in the first round of the playoffs. That's why they'll sit starting QB Justin Herbert and drop Trey Lance into the fire. Lance has seen limited action this season, hitting on seven of 13 (53.8%) for 90 yards, with no TDs and no INTs. Now Lance has to face this Denver team that leads the NFL in sacks with 64. UH OH!
