Weaponry!!!

Las Vegas - Love the Texans defense and made a few bucks last week when they smoked the Steelers. But coming to New England, the focus shifts to the Houston offense, or, lack thereof. In the 30-6 beatdown against Pittsburgh, the defense scored 14 points, while the offense managed just two TDs. Now, the Texans will be without their BEST WR, Nico Collins. With 71 receptions for 1,117 yards and six TDs, Nico on the bench is a GINORMOUS problem for a team that is offensively challenged. And when we looked at the other WRs, no one can match the numbers Collins put on the board. And it AIN'T close. Jayden Higgins had 41 catches for 525 yards, Xavier Hutchinson had 35 receptions for 428 yards and Christian Kirk had 28 grabs for 239 yards. RB Woody Marks had a nice effort against a leaky Pittsburgh defense, gobbling up 112 yards, but in all his other games, 74 yards was the max. C.J. Stroud has done a solid job this season, but he does make mistakes. Stroud turned it over three times against the Steelers, with one INT and two fumbles. The other arm, Drake Maye, has had a breakout season, completing 354 of 492 passes for 4,394 yards with 31 TDs and eight INTs. He also has wheels, scampering for 450 yards over the course of the season, with 66 last week against the Chargers. Also like the fact that Maye spreads the love around like last week when he completed passes to NINE different guys. Gimme the Pats for the money.

In the late game, it's gonna be FREEZING in Chicago, but from what we understand, BOTH teams gotta play in the weather. And we have some weather related information that you might wanna digest. Rams QB Matthew Stafford is 4-1 at Chicago in his career when the kickoff temperature is below 40 degrees. Puka Nacua played his college ball at Washington and BYU, and both can get chilly. Davante Adams spent the first eight seasons of his career in the FROZEN TUNDRA with the Packers. RB Kyren Williams played at Notre Dame and they have seen the white stuff as well as the big chill in South Bend. So, let's put the weather on the back-burner. And how about a little more info on Stafford's 37 year old arm. Matthew was ridonkulous this season, passing for 4,707 yards with 46 TDs and just eight INTs. His WRs, Nucua and Adams are probably the best one-two in the league. Puka led the NFL with 129 receptions while Davante led the league with 14 TDs. That's what you call WEAPONRY! However, the Rams do tend to give up points which is why we're not thrilled about laying four or four and a hook and will throw down all our chips on the money line.
