It'll be close but the Wildcats will end the Cyclones!

Las Vegas - Is it too early for baseball? Nah! Gonna take a look at the games tonight in the World Baseball Classic. First up is the Dominican Republic against South Korea. No offense to South Korea, but the DR is crazy good. They absolutely obliterated three of the four teams in pool play. They beat Nicaragua 12-3, the Netherlands 12-1, Israel 10-1, then closed with a 7-5 W against Venezuela. If you don't have a calculator handy, the DR outscored the opposition 41-10. Just a tiny THIRTY ONE run differential. No one is gonna lay $900 to win back $100 on the Dominican Republic, so the plan is a skinny parlay with the United States. The USA is also a YUGE favorite, around -$880 against Canada. After a disastrous finish to pool play when the manager had no idea that we could be eliminated, and resting some stars, the United States WILL be ready to rock and roll.

Oh yeah, you need some hoops huh. Gimme Arizona on the money line over Iowa State in the Big 12 tourney.

Las Vegas - Bouncing back on to the NBA hardwood tonight for a look at the 'what have you done lately' category. Golden State (32-33) is hosting Minnesota (40-26) and the Warriors have been heading in the wrong direction, losing seven of the last 10 straight up with a 4-6 mark against the spread. They have gone Over seven times and Under three times. The T'wolves have won six of the last 10 games straight up but have covered just two of 10. They have gone Over only two times and Under eight. These teams have met three times this season. On December 12, Minny (+4.5) beat GSW 127-120 in San Francisco. The Over/Under total was 228.5 and went way high. On January 25, the Wolves (-5.5) lost to the Warriors 111-85 in Minnesota. The Over/Under total was 237.5 and went way low. On January 26, the Wolves (-8) beat the Warriors 108-83 in Minnesota. The Over/Under total was 226.5 and went Under once again.
