Got the gold for you at the Oscars!

Las Vegas - Of course you need the picks for the Oscars tonight to win your pool, so here you go. We have hit five out six in the big categories almost every year, but will warn you that this year is as close as we have ever seen. So, the Best Picture, it's actually an easy choice as 'One Battle After Another' takes the little golden man. Best Actor is a dog fight between Michael B. Jordan and Timothee Chalamat. We got Michael B. Best Actress is a lock for Jessie Buckley. Best Supporting Actor should be and will be Sean Penn. Best Supporting Actress is THE tightest race on the card, between Amy Madigan and Teyana Taylor. Amy could win but we're gonna go for a mini-upset and throw a few chips on Teyana. As for Best Director, the Oscar is already sitting in Paul T. Anderson's seat. And if you need a kicker, in the Best Song category, it'll be 'Golden' by the KPop Demon Hunters.

On the NHL board, Edmonton comes back home after two straight losses and should have no trouble posting a W against the Predators tonight.

ECKstats

Michigan (31-2) is fighting Purdue (26-8) and the Wolverines have won nine of the last 10 straight up but have an ugly 3-7 mark against the spread. They have gone Over just three times and Under seven times. The Boilermakers have won six of the last 10 games straight up but have covered just three of 10. They have gone Over six times and Under four. These teams have met once this season. On February 17, Michigan (-2.5) posted a road win at Purdue, beating the Boilers 90-81. The Over/Under total was 156.5 and went way high.
