Yes, I BLEED pinstripes!
Las Vegas - For those just joining the Ecks & Bacon nation and expecting an MLB pick tonight, sorry. This guy, your guy, grew up in the Bronx a few miles from Yankee Stadium, and I BLEED pinstripes. Which is why I NEVER pick on or against the Yanks. NEVER!
On to the NBA board for a look at the Pistons/Hawks game. Detroit has been on a nice little 4-0 run, WITHOUT superstar Cade Cunningham, but we're not impressed with the teams they beat. Okay, the win against the Lakers (46-26) was solid for sure, but then beating the Warriors (34-38) and Wizards (16-55) twice, was just a so what for me. The last time these teams met was in Detroit, and the Pistons humiliated the Hawks, 142-115. That was WITH Cunningham on the floor. And we looked at Atlanta's lineup and it was not the same group that is on the floor for Quin Snyder right now. Snyder has been able to use Jonathan Kuminga, CJ McCollum, Jock Landale and Gabe Vincent, guys he didn't have in the 28 point blowout loss back in December. With this new group, the ATL is on a fabulous 13-1 straight up run and 12-2 against the spread. My three initials for tonight ... ATL!

Las Vegas - Checking in on the best game on the NBA board tonight for a look at the 'what have you done lately' category. Boston (47-24) is hosting Oklahoma City (57-15). The Celtics have won six of their last 10 straight up with a 4-6 record against the spread. They have gone Over three times and Under seven times. The Thunder have been on fire, winning 10 of the last 10 straight up but just have a 3-7 record against the spread. They have gone Over only two times and Under eight times. These teams have met once this season. On March 12, OKC (-8.5) squeezed past the Celtics at home, 104-102. The Over/Under total was 216.5 and went low.
