Finally, the Final Four!
Las Vegas - Finally, the Final Four. For those who read every day, you're probably pretty happy with the 4-0 tournament record on two team 6-point teasers. For those just joining, we wanna make you happy. So the plan is, if the bookies are giving us six points to play with, we're BUYING! You look at the spreads on each game, 1.5 in each, and they're telling us it's about as close as you can get. So, we'll take UConn from +1.5 to +7.5 points in the opener against Illinois. As my great friend and Hall of Famer, Donnie Blackjack, Dr. 21, Count(ing) Dracula told me, UConn is 17-1 in the last 18 NCCA tournament games, and, and SEVENTEEN & ONE against the spread. Impossible to buck those numbers. Then we take Arizona from +1.5 to +7.5 points against Michigan. Both teams are amazing, both teams are loaded, but these Wildcats have lost just two games this season. They came up on the short end of an 82-78 score against Kansas and a 78-75 loss to Texas Tech. The calculator tells me that's four points and three points. Which is why, they ain't gonna lose by a snowman. Enjoy.
