Speaking of the NHL ice, we're looking up North at the Senators over the Panthers. Ottawa (92) is two points ahead of Columbus (90) for the last wild card in the Eastern Conference, so you know they'll be bringing the heat tonight. They have won three of the last four while Florida has lost seven of the last 10 and will NOT get back to the playoffs after winning two straight Stanley Cups. Panthers coach Paul Maurice announced that they will be shutting down 12 players for the rest of the season, including Matthew Tkachuk, Brad Marchand, Aleksander Barkov and Sam Reinhart. So, basically, the Senators will be facing some of the kids from Florida's AHL minor league team, the Charlotte Checkers. The Panthers are playing Checkers while Ottawa is playing chess. Gimme the Sens for the money.

On October 24, the Knicks (-4.5) posted a 105-95 victory in New York. The Over/Under total was 231.5 and went low. On December 2, the Celtics (+1) posted a 123-117 victory in Boston. The Over/Under total was 230.5 and went high. On February 8, the Knicks (+3.5) posted a 111-89 victory in Boston. The Over/Under total was 214.5 and went low.
