Las Vegas - Quick look at the MLB board and will try the soon-to-be Vegas A's over the White Sox. Jeffrey Springs gets the ball in Sacramento and his last three starts have been lights out. Springs has allowed just two earned runs over the last 19 innings which translates to a 0.95 ERA. Throw in 18 Ks in those three starts and you can see why the first letter of the alphabet is a winner baabbbeee.
Staying with the hometown theme, we're gonna skate on to the NHL ice tonight here in Vegas for a look at the Golden Knights/Mammoth game. According to Winston Churchill, to improve is to change. Apparently, Vegas GM Kelly McCrimmon is a fan of Churchill. On March 29, he gave Bruce Cassidy his walking papers and hired John Tortorella. The Knights had been struggling since the end of February, winning only seven of 24. Ouch. Torts was behind the bench on March 29 for his first game and Vegas has now won seven of the last eight since he took over the Xs & Os. To improve is to change. Gimme a medium size play on the Knights.
