Making sweet music in Motown!
Las Vegas - Kick off the day with an afternoon game in Anaheim. Jose Soriano will get the ball for the Angels and he has been the BEST pitcher in baseball. His numbers are comical. Comically RIDONKULOUS. Soriano is 5-0 and pitching to an invisible 0.28 ERA. He has picked up 39 Ks in 32 innings and is definitely worth a few bucks.
Then we're heading to Motown for a look at the Pistons/Magic game. Detroit rocked the party in the regular season with the best record and #1 seed in the Eastern Conference. And they had THE BEST home record, 31-9, in the Conference. Then the Pistons came out flatter then one of my pancakes and lost 112-101. Apparently, they thought that Orlando would be an easy out and did not come with their 'A' game. They should bring their 'A PLUS' game tonight. Cade Cunningham brought his 'A PLUS PLUS' game, scoring 39 points and now the rest of his guys need to step it up. Jalen Duren who averaged 19+ points per game during the regular season, scored only eight. Duncan Robinson averaged 12+ points per game during the regular season, scored only nine. Look for both of those kids to score into double digits tonight as the Pistons make some sweet music and post a W at home in Motown. But not ready to lay a snowman and a hook, so it's the money line for this guy.
