No snowmen here in Vegas!
Las Vegas - Kick off a crazy Sunday at Fenway Park for a look at the Red Sox/Astros game. Ranger Suarez was one of the big free agent acquisitions for the Sox in the off season. Suarez had a superb eight year run in Philadelphia, posting a 53-37 record. His early work in Boston has been a mixed bag, with three good starts and three lousy starts. However, if his last start is any indication, it looks like the good is starting to emerge. Ranger threw eight innings worth of bagels at the Blue Jays, allowing only one hit and posting 10 Ks. Despite my lifetime hatred, gimme Boston for the money.
Then we'll bounce on to the NBA hardwood for a look at two game sevens. It's almost 90 degrees here in Vegas so we're not interested in building a snowman, laying 8 or 8.5 points. Both teams, Detroit and Cleveland, are 8 or 8.5 point favorites, depending on where you shop, and that's just a little too rich for my blood. So, we will take both home teams on the money line and make it a tasty little parlay.
