In 2024, Wheels posted a 16-7 record with a 2.57 ERA and last season, he was 10-5 with a 2.71 ERA before an injury in August that ended his season. If his first two starts are any indication, it looks like he is back in form. Zack has allowed just three earned runs over 11 innings for a smart 2.45 ERA. Throw in 14 Ks and you can see why we're dropping a handful of chips on the Phillies.
Then we'll bounce on to the NBA playoff board and try the Spurs over the T'wolves tonight. Give Minnesota credit for stifling Victor Wembanyama with a combination of the 'The Stifle Tower,' Rudy Gobert, and Julius Randle. They held Wemby to only 11 points which was FOURTEEN points below his season average. He was 0-8 from downtown and De'Aaron Fox was 0-4. GUARANTEED that 0-12 AIN'T gonna happen again. Fox was held to just 10 points which was almost nine below his season average. Winning in the playoffs is all about adjustments and there's no doubt that the Spurs will have some answers. Not thrilled laying nine and a hook, but with 18 wins in the last 22 games at home, which, by the way, is just three miles from The Alamo, gimme San Antone on the money line.
