A 'desperation teaser' and a trip to SacTown!

Las Vegas - Gonna throw out a tiny two team 6-point 'desperation teaser.' Why desperation? Because it's win or go home and golf for BOTH underdogs. In Cleveland, we're gonna take the Pistons from +4 to +10 points against the Cavaliers. Detroit is only 1-4 straight up on the road in the playoffs, but lemme tell you about the final margins. The Pistons lost by eight points and six points at Orlando. In the two losses at Cleveland, the first was a seven point margin and the second was a nine point margin. NO double digit losses. Then we swing out to Minnesota and take the T'Wolves from +4.5 to +10.5 points against the Spurs. Minny was 3-0 at home against the Nuggets in the first round and 1-1 against the Spurs. And even that game three loss at home was less than double digits (115-108).

Gonna stay up late for a trip to Sacramento and look at the A's vs. Giants. This used to be the Bay Bridge Series when the A's were still living in Oakland. Now they're in Sacramento, so, we'll just call it the I-80 Series. It was just 21 minutes and 12 miles from San Francisco to Oakland. Now it's an hour and 45 minutes to SacTown, depending on traffic, and about 90 miles. Now that you have that mostly useless info, how about the pick? Aaron Civale has been throwing peas for the Athletics, allowing only one earned run over the last 16 innings for a minuscule 0.56 ERA. Cincy's Tyler Mahle has been roughed up the last three times out, giving up nine earned runs over 16 innings which works out to a 5.06 ERA. Gimme the A's for a deposit into the Bank of Benj.
