Start in Tampa, fly to OKC and you can BOOK IT!

Las Vegas - Jumping on the MLB board for the first selection down in Tampa. Gonna roll with the Rays and Shane McClanahan over the Orioles. Lemme just throw these numbers at you and see if you agree. McClanahan is serving up only BAGELS to the rest of the leagues. In his last four starts, Shane has bageled the Twins (5 innings, 0 earned runs), Giants (6 innings, 0 earned runs) and the Blue Jays twice (5 innings, 0 earned runs in each start). The other arm, Baltimore's Trevor Rodgers, has been scuffling with a 2-4 record and has allowed 18 earned runs over the last 15 innings for 10.80 ERA. OUCH! Gimme the Rays for the money.
Then we'll bounce to Oklahoma City for a look at the opening game in the Western Conference Final. If you look at the ECKstats below, you'll notice that the Spurs have taken four of five against the Thunder. But this is a WHOLE new season. OKC is pitching an 8-0 playoff PERFECTO, sweeping the Suns and the Lakers. One mediocre team (Phoenix) and one injury ravaged team (L.A.). Still, 8-0 is EIGHT & OH. And the Thunder had the BEST home record in the NBA during the regular season at 34-7, and now they're 38-7 after four wins in the first two rounds of the playoffs. Still not thrilled about laying six and a hook because the Spurs last three losses were by five points, two points and three points. We're still buying OKC, but on the money line.
