Ice, Ice Baby!

Las Vegas - Skating on to the NHL ice in Carolina for a look at the Hurricanes/Canadiens game in the Eastern Conference Final. If you looked at the results from the regular season, Montreal would be the obvious play. On January 1, the Canadiens beat the Hurricanes in Carolina, 7-5. The Over/Under total was 6.5 goals and went high. On March 24, the Canadiens beat the Hurricanes in Montreal, 5-2. The Over/Under total was 6.5 goals and went high again. On March 29, the Canadiens beat the Hurricanes in Carolina, 3-1. The Over/Under total was 6.5 goals and went low. Of course there is a however. However, the 'Canes are pitching a playoff PERFECTO at 8-0. Yeah, EIGHT & OH! Carolina is playing amazing defense and the Over/Under total has gone low in seven of their eight playoff games. The only concern is that word, rust. The 'Canes have not skated since March 9 and tonight makes 12 days without an angry opponent on the other side of the ice. Might not be a hurricane but we do expect Carolina to post a W in the opener.

On the NBA playoff board, you know the drill. If New York is playing, this guy, your guy, is OUT!
