Looking for the W in D.C!

Las Vegas - Don't look now, but after seven years wandering in the shadows, the Nationals are sitting just 1.5 games out of a Wild Card spot. They have won eight of the last 12 while the Marlins are scuffling, losing five in a row. Washington's Cade Cavalli ain't in the Cy Young conversation, but he is 3-3 with a solid 3.62 ERA. The other arm, Miami's Sandy Alcantara, is REALLY struggling. Alcantara started the season with a 2-0 record but has only one win in his last 10 outings. And his last two starts were UGLIFIED! He was rocked for 19 hits and 14 earned runs in just 11 innings. Feel bad for the kid but money is money. Gimme the Nats for the W.

ECKstats

Las Vegas - Back on the MLB board for a look at a game tonight in the 'what have you done lately' category. The Mariners (37-20) are hosting the Mets (29-28). Seattle has won seven of the last 10 and has gone Over five times and Under five times. New York has won four of the last 10 and has gone Over one time and Under nine times.

These teams have not met this season.
