Las Vegas - Numbers. Yeah. That's what I got for you. If it's a pick on tonight's game, you are on your own.
We can tell you that the Spurs opened at -5 points over the Knicks and most of the books now have it at -4.5. So, New York team = NO pick. Sorry. Numbers we have, and, one prop wager for your wallet. First the numbers. The Spurs have won 12 of 18 straight up and against the spread in the playoffs. They have won six of nine at home, straight up and against the spread. They have gone Over 11 times and Under seven times in three playoff series. The Knicks have won 12 of 14 straight up and covered 11 of 14 in the playoffs. They have won six of seven on the road straight up and against the spread. They have gone Over eight times and Under six times in three playoff series.
Now the one prop we like. It's gonna be San Antonio super rookie Dylan Harper to go OVER 17.5 total points, rebounds and assists. In the first playoff series against Portland, Harper averaged 12 points, four boards and two assists. In the second playoff series against Minnesota, Harper averaged 14 points, six boards and two assists. And in the last series against OKC, Harper averaged 12 points, five boards and 3 assists. The math tells me that he has gone OVER 17.5 in each series and we're expecting more of the same in game one tonight.
On the MLB board, we're wondering, is there ever a time to bet against Paul Skenes? Probably not, but this kid from Houston, Spencer Arrighetti, has been wicked good. Arrighetti is 7-1 and pitching to a skinny little 0.90 ERA at home. Teeny tiny tickle on the Astros at plus money.

San Antonio has won six of the last 10 straight up and has a 6-4 record against the spread. They have gone Over eight times and Under twice. New York has won 10 of the last 10 and has a 9-1 record against the spread. They have gone Over seven times and Under three times.
These teams have met three times this season. On December 16, the Knicks (-2.5) posted a 124-113 victory in Las Vegas. That was the championship game of the NBA Cup. The Over/Under total was 233.5 and went high. On December 31, the Spurs (-3.5) posted a 134-132 victory in San Antonio. The Over/Under total was 234.5 and went high. On March 1, the Knicks (+1) posted a 114-89 victory in New York. The Over/Under total was 227.5 and went low.
