The Iranians will have to come in from Tijuana, Mexico because they were not allowed to have a training base in the United States. The fight from Tijuana to L.A. is maybe 45 minutes and should not be a big deal. What is a big deal is Iran's work leading up to the World Cup. Team Melli lost to Nigeria 2-1 back in March, then beat Costa Rico 5-0, Gambia 3-1 and Mali 2-0. New Zealand has struggled coming into the Cup, losing to Haiti 4-0 and England 1-0. Once again, do NOT care about the politics, because the Bank of Benj, like Switzerland, is totally neutral. Gimme Iran for the money.
