Golf tomorrow, World Cup today!

Las Vegas - A day early, but The Panda is back and ready to spread some cash on a few players in the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills. Gonna throw a few names at you for Top 20 finishes. Chris Gotterup is a Jersey kid and went to Rutgers. He has a vibe, he has power and six Top 20 finishes already this season. Next up, pick a Fitzpatrick. Both Matt and Alex are playing well and both should be able to crack the Top 20. Then Patrick Reed, who finished T12th in the Masters and T10th at the PGA, usually finds a way into the Top 20. And finally, if you can find it, The Panda like Miles Russell for low teenager. He just won the Junior Invitational and has been at Shinnecock for a week getting the lay of the land. Put a few pennies on Russell for low teen if you can find a price.

Switching over to the World Cup, we're gonna jump on Portugal over DR Congo in Houston. If you're thinking Cristiano Ronaldo, that ain't the real reason. This Portugal team is absolutely loaded. Nuno Mendes, Joao Neves and Vitinha are set to start after helping Paris Saint-Germain to win the 2025-26 Champions League crown. Bruno Fernandes had an amazing season in the Premier League for Manchester United, winning FWA (Football Writers Association) Footballer of the Year, with eight goals and 19 assists. All this talent, and still Ronaldo is lurking. Gimme the Portuguese side for the money.

ECKstats
