Royalty on the mound in San Diego!

Las Vegas - Just one World Cup match today, Canada vs. South Africa, in the Round of 32, the knockout round. Not feeling either team, so it's a pass.

Over to the MLB board and we're looking at San Diego again, this time with Michael King over the Dodgers. The Padres beat the Dodgers 7-1 on Friday night and they need to keep their foot on the gas. King was solid the last time out (7 innings, 0 earned runs against the Braves) and tossed a gem at the Dodgers back on May 18. King picked up the W in San Diego with 7 innings, ZERO earned runs and 9 Ks. There are very few weak spots in L.A.'s rotation, but it looks like Emmet Sheehan is one of 'em. Sheehan has lost four in a row is pitching to a bloated 5.32 ERA. Gimme the Padres for the money.
