Another BAGEL for Spain? Bet on it!

Las Vegas - Does anyone like bagels more than Spain? Don't think so. The Spanish side had kept five clean sheets so far in the World Cup. For us, that's FIVE BAGELS! La Roja's defense is total lockdown. We understand that Belgium is unbeaten in 18 games but we are not impressed. Beating the USA, sorry to say this, was a SO WHAT. The Stars & Stripes do NOT belong among the world's best team. NOT even close. Belgium ran all over the USA, but NO ONE runs over the Spanish. Color me red and my money green. VAMOS!

On the MLB board, gonna drop a few chips on the White Sox with Sean Burke over the A's. We are still shocked that Chicago is sitting on top of the A.L. Central, and we can tell you that Burke is one of the main reasons. His record is just 5-4, but his most recent work has been stellar. Sean has allowed only five earned runs over the last 25 innings for a skinny 1.80 ERA. Throw in 33 Ks over his last 25 innings and you see why we're expecting a deposit into the Bank of Benj.
