Las Vegas - Looking at an N.L East throw down in Philadelphia. The Phillies will send Jesus Luzardo to the hill and his numbers have been amazing. His left arm has been scorching hot with a 5-0 record since the middle of May. And his last three outings have been fire, allowing only two earned runs over 18 innings for a skinny little 1.00 ERA. You can also throw in 26 Ks over those 18 frames. Luzardo faced the Mets at Citi Field back on June 28 and picked up a W, allowing just one earned run over five innings with six Ks. Add it all up and you can see why we're expecting another deposit into the Bank of Benj.
For all you guys that love the ponies, my horse guy, Martin Calia, is back with a look at one million dollar Haskell Stakes at Monmouth Park. The Haskell is Race #12 for three year old colts, going a mile and an eighth on the dirt track. So, Ive been waiting for this horse to run and todays the day! I love the #6 Napoleon Solo. He comes off his last race a winner, the Grade 1 Preakness Stakes, which happens to be the second jewel of the Triple Crown. He didnt run in the Belmont and was pointed to todays race. Solo, or as I refer to him, The Man from Uncle (for you youngsters, that was a hit TV show back in the 1960's), has been working bullets for trainer Chad Summers. Monmouth Park is a speed favoring track and Solo will either go for the lead or sit a stalking second. So here we go with a Benjamin Lee ($100) to win on #6 Napoleon Solo, and, a $10 exacta wheel #6 with all. Good Luck!
