Argentina or Spain? Messi or Yamal? You make the call!

Las Vegas - The facts, just the facts. If you're wondering why Spain is favored over Lionel Messi and the defending World Cup Champions, plz keep reading. The Spanish side has been brilliant at the Cup, winning six matches and drawing once. They have outscored the opposition 13-1 and kept SIX clean sheets. That's a bagel, donut or shutout to you and me. Need more. La Roja are now unbeaten in 37 straight matches since losing to Colombia back in March 2024. THIRTY SEVEN! So you got all that weight, but when you look across the field, you see #10, Leo Messi, without question, in my book, the GREATEST player ever. Not only is he tied in the race for the Golden Boot (not including yesterday), most goals scored, but his two assists against England were pure poetry, especially the game winner. Messi lofted a ball into a space where there were seven English defenders, two on either side of Lautaro Martinez. The ball landed perfectly on Martinez's head for the W. Argentina's seven game run has not been as impressive as Spain's results. La Albiceleste have won all seven matches while scoring 19 goals, but they have allowed seven to find the back of the net.

Now, don't pick up anything sharp, because this guy, your guy, is gonna just sit back and watch the final. Wallet closed. Really conflicted on the outcome. Want Messi to go back-to-back, but Spain has been lights out. This has been one of my best runs ever, with the Bank of Benj enjoying a 30-7 run at the World Cup. Not interested in giving back any of my cash. So, enjoy the match and don't yell at me!

Las Vegas - Back on the MLB board for a look at a game tonight in the 'what have you done lately' category. The Mariners (48-50) are hosting the Giants (42-55). Seattle has won three of the last 10 and has gone Over five times and Under three times with two pushes. San Francisco has won six of the last 10 and has gone Over four times and Under four times with two pushes.

These teams have met once this season (not including last night). On July 17, the Giants (+$165) posted a 7-0 victory in Seattle. The Over/Under total was 7.0 runs and was a push.
