Flying the W at Wrigley!
Las Vegas - Everyone is putting the World Series trophy in Los Angeles after Tarik Skubal was gobbled up by the Dodgers. Gonna be tough for anyone to beat them in a seven game series, but for one game, at Wrigley Field, anything is possible. Chicago will face Justin Wrobleski and his outstanding 11-2 record, but miracles do happen. Especially with Matthew Boyd on the hill for the Cubbies. Boyd missed a month and a half with a meniscus injury, but he has been solid since coming back. Boyd has won four straight without a loss and has allowed only two earned runs over the last 20 innings for an invisible 0.90 ERA. Flying the W flag with the Cubs, unless of course the Dodgers start Skubal. Then we would wash the bet.
