Las Vegas - Flying from Chicago to Phoenix for a look at the Arizona/Colorado matchup. The Diamondbacks are sitting 7.5 games back of the Dodgers for the N.L. West crown, but they ARE sitting in a Wild Card spot. They'll send Merrill Kelly to the bump and he has been solid at home allowing four earned runs over the last 15 innings which works out to a 2.40 ERA. And when Kelly faced the Rockies back in May, he tossed a complete game, allowing only one earned run. Gimme the D'backs for the money.

Back on the MLB board for a look at a game tonight in the 'what have you done lately' category. The Giants (49-70) are hosting the Astros (61-59). San Francisco has won two of the last 10 and has gone Over four times and Under five times with one push. Houston has won six of the last 10 and has gone Over seven times and Under two times with one push. 

These teams have met once this season (not including yesterday). On August 10, the Astros (-$142) posted a 6-3 victory in San Francisco. The Over/Under total was 8.5 runs and went Over.
