Las Vegas - Tampa Bay picked up Freddy Peralta for the stretch run and his first outing was ugly, allowing seven earned runs in just three innings. His second start was better, giving up just three earned runs over six innings. Both of those starts were on the road but we expect a much better effort in his first game at home. Trevor Rogers is sitting at 7-8 with a 4.21 ERA, and in his only start against the Rays, he was bombed for eight hits and seven earned runs in just three innings. We know that the game is indoors but we're expecting the sun to shine on the Bank of Eck.

Back on the MLB board for a look at a game tonight in the 'what have you done lately' category. The Pirates (60-64) are hosting the Red Sox (65-57) this afternoon. Pittsburgh has won three of the last 10 and has gone Over five times and Under four times with one push. Boston has won four of the last 10 and has gone Over seven times and Under three times. 

These teams have met once this season (not including yesterday). On August 14, the Pirates (+$106) posted a an 8-4 victory in Pittsburgh. The Over/Under total was 9.0 runs and went Over.
