Two QBs, three surgeries ... we'll take a pass tonight!

Las Vegas - Just laying out a few facts for the first Monday nighter. Superstar QB Patrick Mahomes will play his first regular season game since coming back from ACL surgery. Reports from training camp tell us that Mahomes is moving well and there are no worries. Really? Maybe he is, but you know that the nasty Broncos defense will be coming at him breathing fire. Last season, Denver had 68 total sacks, 11 more than any other team. And the last time they met when he was still healthy, the Broncos sacked Mahomes three times. The other arm, Denver's Bo Nix, is also coming off a medical situation with his ankle. Nix was cleared to play tonight as he comes back from the season-ending ankle injury that happened in the AFC divisional round and required two surgeries. So, both QBs are question marks in my mind. Never like to bet against Mahomes, especially at home, but this surgically-repaired version of Patrick is an unknown quantity. Have the same issues with the surgically-repaired ankle of Nix as well. Don't yell at me, but it has gotta be a pass.
