YUGE black holes in the Lions secondary ... Josh Allen will exploit it!

Numbers man, that's why. Last week, Detroit was in an OT battle with New Orleans before pulling out a 31-30 victory. And Shough was amazing, hitting on 35 of 56 for 410 yards (best in the NFL for week 1) and three TDs. Of course, there are reasons for those numbers and both are in the Lions secondary. Kerby Joseph, the league leader in interceptions (16) since 2023, had knee surgery. Brian Branch is nine months into recovery from surgery to repair a torn Achilles. Both remain OUT. That's a YUGE problem, especially against a talent like Josh Allen. Last week, Allen carved up the Houston defense, one of the best in the league, completing 20 of 29 for 334 yards and 2 TDs. Now he faces a Detroit team with two giant sinkholes in the secondary, so gimme Josh Over 240 yards at a price of around $160.
What about the game pick Eck? Yeah, sure. The Bills are opening a new stadium and will be JACKED UP but the Lions can score on anyone. Not thrilled about laying 4.5 or 5.5 points with Buffalo depending on where you shop. However, there is a shot at a middle if you take the Bills -4.5 at DraftKings or FanDuel, then you would buy back the Lions +5.5 at Circa or Caesars. Thinking Buffalo and if you wanna circle the wagons, try the Buffs on the money line.
